Bout Summary
Within the fourth round, Salif sent Petkovic down to the canvas with a crushing left-right combination. Petkovic beat the count and was again knocked down later in that round. Salif didn't press the action, making it Petkovic possible to recover. Salif again sent Petkovic down in the 5th with a left bodyshot, but referee Manfred Kuechler ruled the punch as a low blow and deducted a point from Salif. Later that round, Petkovic gone down again after a furthermore left bodyshot. Again, Salif was dedeucted a point. After more punishment, Petkovic was down again in the 6th round and was quickly up again after beeing counted. Petkovic was down another time in the 6th after two bodyshots above the beltline. Confusingly, referee Kuechler again thought those punches to be low blows and disqualified Salif. Petkovic received booes from the crowd after beeing declared as winner of the fight.
