Bout Summary

Uicab came out looking to take the fight to Sosa. He used his speed advantage to move in and out quickly and threw power combinations. A left hand in the final seconds of Round 1 caught Sosa on the chin and sent him down. He was up at the count of five. The two often collided heads as both jumped in quickly to throw. Uicab was deducted one point in Round 4 for picking up Sosa in a clinch and dumping him to the mat. By the end of Round 5 a small cut had opened on the outside of Sosa's right eyebrow. Sosa came on in Round 6 and a combination sent Uicab down to a knee in the final seconds of the round. He was up at the count of two. In Round 9, it appeared as if Sosa had injured his right hand as he threw it less and often shook it after punching.
