Peter Mueller from Germany, campaigning in the US, outpointed New Yorker Ray Drake in a 10 rounder. It was a messy fight with much wrestling and brawling. When Mueller in the 3rd round tried to wrestle himself free from Drake's grip, Drake pulled Mueller with him as he fell. A right to the chin floored Drake in the 7th, also this time Drake managed to drag Mueller with him. Both men rolled over the canvas.
