Kid Chocolate had Paluso wobbling at the end of the 1st round. Chocolate maintained control through the fifth round, snapping Paluso's head back repeatedly with left jabs. In the 5th round, Chocolate dropped Paluso twice, the second time for a count of eight. Paluso rallied though, and gave his best effort of the bout in the 6th round, twice backing Chocolate to the ropes. However, in the 7th round Chocolate regained control, dropping Paluso twice, before the referee halted the contest.
