Notes
- Malignaggi down once in Round 2.
- Zab Judah looked good at the start as he always does, winning the first three rounds with sharp jab punching. Just as suddenly, Judah stopped punching by and large, and Paulie 'Magic Man' Malignaggi outhustled him with jabs landing by volume, backing Judah all night. Judah could not match Malignaggi's punch count output. Perhaps the fourth round was a bit closer, but after that, Malignaggi won every round scoring with jabs from both hands, had a solid defense and never tired. Judah took the shots well, but just did not throw very much, allowing Paulie to put rounds in the bank and win easily. Not a close fight.
- This fight goes down in history as for the "King of Brooklyn" belt and local bragging rights for the winner.
