Notes
Newspaper decision for Greb from Pittsburgh Gazette Times and Pittsburgh Post. According to The Post "Harry Greb .. surprised even his fondest admirers by handing Walter Monaghan .. one of the worst beatings that the 'bearcat' ever received. Greb beat Monaghan in every round, in the fourth and fifth simply hammering him to a pulp. From the fourth on Monaghan's face was cut to shreds .. From the tap of the gong until the end, Greb was after Monaghan .. He never gave him time to get set, shooting in rights and lefts at long range and when in close bringing up a right hand uppercut that seldom failed to rock (Monaghan)."
