Newspaper decision from the Pittsburgh Post and Gazette Times. It was a great fight, although Greb won every round but the last one. Greb fought "as if a championship depended upon the result.." He got off to a good start and stayed ahead. He was the faster of the two and made Wenzel constantly miss his uppercuts (but) Wenzel scored quite a lot with lefts to head and body...Greb won every round but the last, which was even." Wenzel was floored in the 5th.
