Newspaper win for Greb according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, which gave Greb every round. The paper reported Greb having adhesive tape and plaster covering a large boil in his kidney region. But once he began fighting "the ring creaked and groaned, and literally shook with the violence of his activity. A combination of Eddie Campi, Johnny Dundee and Pal Moore merged into one fighter and raised about 40 pounds in weight might have given some such display" and "Greb is harder to hit with a glove than a flying snipe with a revolver." Greb's right hand was injured and Referee Heisner stated after the fight that Greb had injured it on Martin's head during the third round, thus limiting it's use. The Pittsburgh Post reported a boil on Harry's back was broken open by a blow from Martin and Greb "got deathly sick." Also, he broke a bone in his right hand. Afterward, he cancelled fights with Jeff Smith (Pittsburgh), K.O. Brown (Canton), and Mike McTigue (Cumberland MD). Greb was now at a low ebb physically because of boils, from which he had been suffering for weeks. According to the St. Louis Globe-Democrat, Greb won every round with ease, but didn't show much punching power. There was no mention of Greb having become sick from a boil.
