"Steve Belloise, a leading contender for Jake LaMotta's middleweight crown, won by a TKO last night over Anton Raadik of Estonia. The scheduled 10 rounder ended at 1:28 of the 7th. Belloise punished Raadik almost at will with both rights and lefts. Raadik, who fights out of Chicago, seemed weak on defense and was in bad shape when the bell ended the 4th round. There were no knockdowns." -Associated Press
