• In a major upset in the 154 pound division, CHarles Hatley knocked down world ranked Anthony Mundine three times in the second round for a 10-6 round, but Mundine survived. mundine knocked Hatley to the canvas in the tenth, but Hatley survived. Hatley knocked down Mundine in the eleventh round. When Mundine got up, Hatley tagged Mundine at will with power shots in flurries, and Mundine did NOT survive, as his corner threw in the towel with the 40 year old injury plagued Mundine ready to go, ending the bout.
• After the bout, Mundine discussed retirement, recovery from various injuries, and a possible rematch with Danny Green.
