Amir Mansour 224 lbs beat Travis Kauffman 231 lbs by MD in round 12 of 12

Vacant United States Boxing Association & World Boxing Council USNBC Heavyweight Title Bout

  • Showing superior foot movement, and winning rounds by outworking Travis Kauffman down the stretch, Mansour won the USBA and WBC USNBC vacant heavyweight titles, his best and biggest win to date. Kauffman landed some big power shots early, and switched off from the orthodox and southpaw stances in an attempt to confuse Mansour. However, Kauffman appeared to tire somewhat from the eighth round on, givin the better conditioned Mansour the edge and the bout in the later rounds. Both men boxed cautiously, and were careful not to punch themselves out. While there was much holding, good sportsmanship from both men and both corners in this main event. Clean bout.
