Bunny Grant 148 lbs beat Raul Soriano by UD in round 10 of 10

"Boxing continued its revival drive with another bumper show at the National Arena. Bunny Grant, the local lightweight and welterweight champion, and Raul Soriano, Mexican welter champion put on the hardest battle seen here in some time. Grant won a unanimous decision although the voting of the officials did not reflect the true margin of victory, especially of referee Seaside Jonson's score. The local boy was master while the fight was at long range but when he was unable to keep it that way the edge shifted to Soriano. They engaged in some hectic close up exchanges. Soriano, with a big knockout record, was the one who was in danger of being put away in the 3rd. Soriano suffered cuts early and Grant bled from the nose later on." -Ring Magazine, January 1971 issue
