"The Cirque d'Hiver was only half full for the bout between Angel Robinson Garcia and the undefeated young Algerian lightweight, Mohamed Ben Said. Garcia met the African's storming attacks with hefty counters but thanks to his extra reach, Ben Said got the better of the exchanges and was ahead on points by the end of the 5th round. In the 6th he was met by a right hook to the chin which sent him down for '8' and a few moments later he was again on the deck. He survived the rest of the round but took two further counts in the 7th and the ref stopped the bout in the Cuban's favor." -Ring Magazine, May 1962 issue
