"Chuck Wepner, Bayonne heavyweight, who seems to have become something of a fixture on MSG and Felt Forum cards, made another appearance on the final program of 1969. He topped a Forum bill with Pedro Agosta of Puerto Rico. The bout, over 10 rounds, was pretty much a mauling affair, with Wepner's awkward aggressiveness and advantages in height and weight proving the main factor in Chuck's triumph. Wepner, usually susceptible to facial lacerations, was fortunate this time. The only damage to his features was a slight nick over his left eye, sustained in the opening session, but it didn't worsen and was no handicap." -Ring Magazine, April 1970 issue
