58-fight German veteran middleweight Manfred Hass went to Norway to test unbeaten home boy Roy Askvold.Although Hass no longer was the dangerous boxer he used to be in the 50's, he could pose a threat to the sometimes wide open Norwegian. This time however, Askvold never forgot his guard when he sprung forward with hard attacks to body and head. Hass went down twice in the 6th. Askvold almost lost his control when he floored Hass a third time and punched on after the referee had ordered him back.
