Undefeated light welter prospect Kristian Hoydahl of Norway racked up his 6th win by KOing the veteran Boualem Belouard of Tunisia/Germany. An overhand right after only 13 seconds of fighting dropped Belouard. He got up, but a straight left put him down again, clutching the Norwegian's foot. Belouard didn't beat the count.
This was Belouard's third fight in Norway. In 1966 he lost to Love Allotey while the following year he was KO'd by Tore Magnussen.
