Dusing ( 67,8 kg )irritated the Finn ( 68, 9 kg ) in the opening rounds by sticking out a left jab which he never withdrew. He never used it for serious punching. Yet Backman disappointed his home crowd in Helsinki's Mässhallen by not being able to stop the backwards- pedalling Dusing.
