"Heavyweight Mac Foster of Fresno defeated Cleveland (Big Cat) Williams of Houston before 4,800 fans in Selland Arena Saturday night to extend his knockout streak to 20. The unbeaten Foster put Williams away in 1:33 of the 5th round with a storm of lefts and rights. Foster, 216, ranked 8th by the WBA, decked Williams, 219, earlier in the round for a nine-count, and was hitting him at will when the referee halted the bout.
