The blow, which brought a sudden end to what was turning into an even fight, did more than lay out Nixon for almost three minutes; it avenged a loss Rossman suffered earlier this year. The end came with unexpected quickness. Nixon started the 7th round by landing a solid right to Rossman's head, the best punch of the fight up to that point. Nixon continued his attack but was wide open for Rossman's counter - that tremendous overhand right to the chin.
