A short left hook inside floored Guder for the first time. After Guder rose, Mackin charged after him and dropped him with another left hook. The referee then stepped in, and ruled a TKO. Guder's manager protested that Mackin, had not been sent to the neutral corner, and that his fighter would not have been knocked down again, had this been done properly.
