The Los Angeles based fighter employed a relentless attack to gain the KO over Oropeza at the end of the 3rd round. Oropeza continually covered his head, giving Muniz access to brutal body punches. • The shared main event was a 12 round Arizona State jr. middleweight championship fight between Paco Flores and Johnny Rico. It was understood that Muniz would be taking on the winner, which was Flores. However, the bout failed to materialize.
