"Things couldn't have been much harder for Paco Flores than the lesson he received in a lopsided loss to former junior welterweight champion Eddie Perkins Saturday at the Tucson Community Center Arena. He walked into Perkins pet disarmer - the "upper jab" - in the 1st round and spent the rest of the evening tasting his own blood along with a steady diet of punches. There was one knockdown. It came in the 7th round when Perkins caught Flores with a left hook and followed that punch with a looping right. After taking the mandatory eight count, Flores had to hold off Perkins who did his best to knockout Flores with a furious attack." -Tucson Daily Citizen
