"World junior welterweight champion Eddie Perkins of Chicago easily won a unanimous decision over Mario Rossito of Columbia in a 10 round non-title fight Friday night. The champion barely worked up a sweat as he carried the fight to Rossito most of the way. Perkins opened cuts over both his eyes in the 5th round with a series of left jabs and staggered him with a right to the jaw in the 9th.
