Post-fight comments

  • "It felt like my arm was coming off. You can't show him that you're hurt. You encourage him to come on and he usually won't." -Andy Ganigan, on why he switched to orthodox rather than his normal southpaw style, claiming he hurt his left elbow early in the fight.
  • "It was a right uppercut, left hook and a right hand (on the last knockdown). I knew Ganigan was a good puncher who can put you away if he catches you solid. I didn't give him the opportunity." -Jimmy Paul
