    • Kid Azteca won easily over Howell Steen, capturing every round on one judges scorecards, while losing one round on the scorecards of the other two judges. Steen was knocked down in the 5th round, and took a "terrific walloping" for the next minute. Steen finished with one eye swollen shut, and the other nearly closed as well.
