In Jerry's Quarry's 'comeback' after six years of inactivity, Jerry returned in this Cruiserweight bout against Lupe Guerra ( a last minute substitute for Rocky Casale). Jerry raced across the ring and decked Guerra with the first punch he threw-his trademark left hook. Guerra got up, whereupon Quarry threw and landed a three punch combination-left-right-left hook-and down went Guerra again. Guerra's corner then threw in the towel and the referee stopped this contest at 38 seconds of the first without bothering to count. It was Quarry's first bout as a Cruiserweight (200 pound limit) and Quarry's last victory by knockout. To his credit, Jerry moved across the ring and threw accurate punches with lightning speed as soon as he heard the opening bell. In Quarry's 27 year career, 32 of his 53 wins were by knockout-17 in rounds 1-3.
