Post fight comment
- "I expected a rough-and-tumble type of a fight. I know he wasn't really in my class and he knew it and the only way he could win was to use some of his rough tactics. I won the fight and I won it fair." -Clyde Gray
Notes
- Gray would retire shortly thereafter and the Canadian title became vacant.
