"Clyde Gray, Toronto, 149, racked up his 21st consecutive win by scoring a five round KO over Nick Peoples, Ohio, 153. After the first minute of the fight Gray began to find the range with left hand punches to the head and body causing Peoples to back up. Gray decked his opponent for two counts before the first round had ended. In the second Gray again had Peoples on the canvas. Rounds three and four saw Gray moving fast and keeping his tiring opponent backing up, jolting him with left hooks and short punches to the head. Midway through the fifth, when Peoples was in no condition to defend himself, referee Sammy Luftspring stopped the fight." -Ring Magazine, July 1970 issue
