- Scypion loses by disqualification: he was pushed out of the ring and fails to climb back inside before the referee finishes his count. The referee awarded a TKO but the riungside commissioner insisted the bout continue. By then 15 minutes had passed and Scypion refused to continue.

- Ferdie Pacheco, commentator for the fight, had Hamsho comfortably ahead at the time of disqualification.
