"Boone Kirkman of suburban Renton won a unanimous decision Tuesday night over Jor 'King' Roman of Puerto Rico, but now fighting out of Seattle. All three judges gave Kirkman 9 of the 10 rounds in the heavyweight match. Roman came out swinging in the final round, apparently trying for a knockout, and that was the only round he won. Kirkman, who was staging a comeback after a two year retirement, opened a cut over Roman's eye in the 1st round and pressed the advantage in the next two rounds. There were no knockdowns." -Associated Press
