Belgian lightweight debutant Rene Wathelet made the 3000 crowd at Njaardhallen laugh as he backpedalled in panic from the first bell. He seemed scared, as if he had no fighting experience. A left hook from the Norwegian dumped him in the 3rd. He landed on his pants. In the 4th he was dumped again and remained sitting on the canvas shaking his head.
