The usually competent Surinam/Holland fighter Ronald Riedewald went into a Cassius Clay- act when he faced the stocky Norwegian Roy Askvold in front of 11 000 at the open air Jordal Amfi in Oslo. Riedewald danced and floated like his idol. When he was caught by a left hook in the 2nd, he hung on the ropes acting dead before he suddenly started to dance again. Askvold was not frustrated with this antics, but went forward. In rounds 4-6, Riedewald had to take hard hooks and uppercuts. Riedewald's sole success was a right in the 7th which made Askvold's knees buckle. The Norwegian won the last round with hard series.
