Breland was knocked down once in the 3rd. The end came from a rare right to the head, thrown by Davis, almost out of desperation, who was suffering from bad swelling below his right eye, approximately the size of a golf ball. Davis also suffered a cut over his right eye and bled from the mouth, while Breland bled from the nose a lot, as well as from the mouth toward the end. Davis roughhoused Breland throughout, throwing him to the canvas at least four times.
