"Isaac Logart cut up a game and rugged Jed Black to win a unanimous 10 round decision last night at the Chicago Stadium. The classy Cuban took command fairly early in a hard-fought scrap to win his 10th victory in a row. Black fought hard and was still in there swinging in the 10th round. However, Logart's fast left and right uppercuts cut him around both eyes and had him in trouble in the late rounds. Logart began asserting himself in the 4th round with clever boxing. In the 5th round he opened a cut under Black's right eye. Logart had Black in trouble with a slashing 8th round attack, but Black fought back with hard lefts and rights and was still punching gamely at the finish." -Associated Press
