"In the premier bout of the World Television Championships 'Friday night fight series,' Vito Antuofermo scored an impressive knockout over Eugene 'Cyclone' Hart. Antuofermo, 150, of Commack, NY, started slowly and Hart scored with solid left hooks. But Antuofermo took command of the fight in the 3rd round. He floored the 159 pound Philadelphian with a left hook early in the 5th round. Hart scrambled to his feet but Antuofermo escalated the assault with a barrage of lefts and rights that put Hart on the canvas for the count." -United Press International
