Andy Kendall 174 lbs beat Eddie Jones 174 lbs by SD in round 10 of 10

"Andy Kendall, the No. 5 ranked light heavyweight in the world, scored an upset split decision Wednesday night at the Silver Slipper over Eddie Jones, the No. 1 contender for champion Bob Foster's crown. It was a bruising fight from the 3rd round on and it gained momentum throughout. Kendall finished with a furious flurry in the final round which helped him to win the close decision. Jones seemed to land frequently with his left jab but Kendall scored heavily with his punches to the head and body, particularly in the late rounds. Immediately after the fight, the overflow crowd gave both fighters a standing ovation. There were no knockdowns during the rugged 10 rounder." -Las Vegas Sun
