"Undefeated Cisco Andrade won a majority decision over Hoacine Khalfi Saturday night and added another name to his impressive list of victories. Khalfi, 26-year old Algerian making his first appearance in the U.S. in a nationally televised bout, went down once in the 7th from a hard right hook thrown by Andrade. He was up at the count of three, but had to take the mandatory eight-count. Andrade, 135, of Los Angeles, started pressing Khalfi, 134, midway in the fight after it became apparent that he had little to fear from the Algerian's lighter punching. In the 7th round knockdown, Andrade caught Khalfi in the center of the ring with a flurry, sending him to the canvas with a right hook that opened a cut over Khalfi's left eye." -Associated Press
