It was showtime when Ivar Ellertsen made a comeback. The painter-singer-boxer was now living in Spain and entered the ring in Nordstrandhallen dressed in poncho and black sombrero. In the 1st two rounds his legendary rights seemed to have lost much of their power. The Frenchman Michel Briatte was in no trouble. By the 3rd, Ellertsen had lost his style and was breathing heavily. Briatte's punches hit home and a right dropped the Norwegian. In the 4th, at 1:14 Ellertsen was counted out on his knees after a barrage of punches from the Frenchman.
