On the Maeki vs.Rudhoff fight for the European lightweight title, light heavy Pekka Kokkonen of Finland KO'd Zagreb- born Yvan Prebeg after 28 seconds in the 4th round. Kokkonen chased the gigant Prebeg ( 4th ranked in Europe with a record of 7-6-1 ) for 3 rounds. Prebeg had only an ineffective left jab to offer and he was caught by a right hand from above. He fell like a tree, rolled over and lay motionless, face down. The referee didn't bother to count.
