"Joe Brown, 134 1/4, knocked Orlando Zulueta, 133 3/4, to the canvas in the 13th round for a nine count and finished him off with a flurry of rights a scant 21 seconds before the end of the nationally televised title fight last night. Referee Ray Keech was roundly booed by the crowd of 3,686 in the Denver Coliseum for stopping the bout. Zulueta got up at the count of eight after his second knockdown.
