"Southpaw heavyweight Al Jones landed some heavy punches in the last two minutes to earn a draw against Zora Folley in a 10 round bout Tuesday night. Jones, the No. 2 man in manager Angelo Dundee's heavyweight stable, slammed a left hook into the veteran Folley's nose in the 10th round to step into the draw. Folley, making his 91st start, used his technique to perfection, staying close in on the heavier Jones. Folley scored more often and stronger as they closed and broke from the clinches. But Jones' 10th round shot stunned Folley and caused the veteran to begin bleeding badly." -United Press International
