After an easy going first round Thayer teed off with a dynamite left that landed flush on a surprised Picot chin. That was all! Picot went down. He made a valiant effort to regain his feet but there was no doubt about it. He was far gone. Although he made his pins before the count of 10, he staggered to the left and almost went through the ropes. It was the most thorough kayo of a fighter we've ever seen.
