Zora Folley 198 lbs beat Art Swiden 194 lbs by UD in round 10 of 10

"Zora Folley, Chandler, Ariz., decisioned Art Swiden, Pittsburgh, Pa., last night in a Cashman Field main event interrupted by struggles between the fighters' entourages. Action was fairly dull until the seconds and Folley's manager got into the act in the 6th round when Swiden landed a left hook which caught Folley below the belt. Folley's irate manager, Bill Swift jumped into the ring to look at Folley, only to be followed by Swiden's seconds who vaulted the ropes and grappled with swift in the middle of the ring. While the seconds struggled, Swiden was attempting to resume the fight with Folley but was restrained by referee Frank Serna, who ruled Folley must have a rest period to recover. One of Swiden's seconds then turned on the timekeeper and attempted to attack him, claiming Swiden's corner had not been notified of a low blow and that Folley's trip to the canvas should have been a knockdown. When the fight was restarted, Swiden aimed a kick at Swift in the corner of the ring and said to Folley: "Come on you bum. You're not going anywhere." Police jumped into the ring after the bout ended and the fight was awarded to Folley by a unanimous decision." -United Press
