Laguna jabbed Hayles until he was dazed and made him look a rank amateur as he deftly slipped away from Hayles bombs, leaving the Jamaican to hit nothing but air. After 2:05 of the 6th round, and with Hayles bleeding from small cuts above his right eye and under his nose, referee Emilio Sanchez sorrowfully stepped in between Laguna and his rival and called a halt." -The Gleaner
