There were no knockdowns in the fight but Sinda piled up his lead with a sharp jab and strong left hook despite his difficulty in getting through Torres' defense. The victory gave the African a 15-3-1 record and reversed a previous loss to Torres here two months ago on a 10th round knockout." -United Press International
