Frankie Crawford 128 lbs lost to Vicente Saldivar 128 lbs by UD in round 10 of 10

"Vicente Saldivar proved he still belongs near the top of the featherweight heap Thursday night before a turnaway crowd of 10,400 at the Olympic Auditorium. The two-time former champion scored a unanimous 10 round decision over Frankie Crawford. Saldivar fought the smart fight. He piled up an early lead by swarming all over Crawford and then overcame a jarring left hook in the 4th round to more than hold his own the rest of the night. In the 4th round Crawford caught his rugged foe near a corner and landed an exploding left hook to the jaw. For seconds, Saldivar did not appear to know where he was. Crawford hesitated then came in for the kill. But Saldivar weathered the storm, using all his experience to avoid a knockout punch. By the 5th, Saldivar was back in command. In the 10th Saldivar left no doubt of the final outcome. He threw the most punches and danced to his corner knowing he had scored a victory." -The L.A. Times
