Kirby making his first main event appearance in San Francisco, landed a hard look early in the 1st round, which floored Docusen for a three count. Kirby followed up with a barrage of punches, that had Docusen barely hanging on, which led to the referee stopping the bout. Docusen had reportedly ran off six consecutive wins, entering the bout.
