Ramos, fighting his first main event feature, caught Aguilar on the ropes in the 8th with a barrage to the head that had the Latin groggy as he came back to center ring, and moments later Ramos uncorked another bombardment that put the Mexican veteran of 22 pro bouts down for the count at 2:24 of the 8th. Mando was miles ahead on points at the KO, but the scrappy Latin's counter-punching throughout the bout let him know consistently he was in a fight." -Long Beach Independent
