Lenhart went down 37 seconds into the bout, claiming a foul, as he grabbed the back of his head. Lenhart was originally counted out, but his corner came in to the ring and successfully argued that he had been fouled. Lenhart was given 2 to 3 minutes to recover and continue. In the 3rd, Fox hit Lenhart with a shot to the body that put him down for the count. Lenhart appeared to have been given a long count, but he had to be partially carried to his corner by his handlers. As Lenhart left the ring he was booed.
