    • Enrico Venturi handed Jackie Schweitzer a bad beating on the latter's return to the ring at Long Beach Stadium. The two met in the final affair. Venturi floored Schweitzer twice for nine and the bell saved Jackie from an almost certain knockout on one of these occasions.
